We had our first meeting for the 08/09 school year after school on Thursday, September 25. Everyone agreed that this new time is MUCH BETTER than meeting before school like we did last year. Having more time to talk and eat....priceless!
We made membership buttons, created banned book coffee sleeves, put together a list of movies that we will vote on to watch for next months meeting (see this blog to vote). At our business meeting we introduced ourselves with our favorite book, talked about sponsoring events for Teen Read Week in October, and voted on our upcoming November fund raiser. If you missed our September meeting don't feel left out. Stop by the library and Mrs. Stanton & Mrs. Dillon will fill you in.
There will be another secret word posted a week before our next meeting!
