December Meeting: WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE

Readers'.....are you ready?

We're having our White Elephant gift exchange THIS THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17 right here in the library after school.

Did you forget? Do you know what a White Elephant is?

You are quite right if you guessed that it isn't an actual elephant (LOL). A White Elephant gift is something strange...something quirky...something free....something you have laying around your room...something that your Mom and Dad will not get upset about if you give away.

Okay...so now you have picked out your gift...no what? You wrap it! Wrap it BEAUTIFULLY (make it look tempting) and then bring it with you to the meeting on Thursday.

Everyone puts their gift into the middle of the table (so we can all admire them) and then when everyone is here...we draw numbers....1, 2, 3, etc... you get the idea.

#1 goes first....pick a gift...open it (or not) your choice.
#2 ....pick an new gift...or TAKE ANY OTHER GIFT ALREADY SELECTED....opened or not.
#3...same.....

And the fun continues!
